Terms & Conditions

 

 

We want everyone who stays with us to have a fun-filled and safe glamping experience so we have put these terms and conditions in place to keep our guests, ourselves and our animals safe. Please make sure you read them carefully as by booking a break with us you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. If you have any queries or need any further information please contact us.

Covid-19
Each unit is thoroughly cleaned and all bed linen is washed at high temperatures and replaced between guests. We have very high cleanliness standards however extras measures are in place in light of the current Covid-19 pandemic to ensure everything is safe and sparkling for both ourselves and guests. We ask that should you have any symptoms you do not come onto our site and contact us as soon as possible. When on site we ask that you wash your hands regularly and that you wipe down any high contact surfaces and door handles with the anti-bacterial spray provided and strip the beds prior to your departure. Should you start to experience symptoms whilst staying with us we request that you inform us and leave the site to isolate at home and ensure you clean down your unit, including kitchen and bathroom and strip your bedding to ensure its as safe as possible for us to enter to clean.

Should you be required to isolate and this will effect your stay with us please get in touch and we will do everything we can to rearrange your break. We will require proof.

1. Cancellations - This should be is done in writing / e-mail, once you have placed your booking a non refundable 20% deposit will be kept as a cancellation fee. If you cancel less than 28 days before your arrival date the total cost of your stay will be charged. We suggest you take out holiday insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that may arise.  If we agree to reschedule your stay the dates can only be changed once to a like for like booking of the same value, should you then decide to cancel the rearranged booking the original cancellation policy will apply. 

2. Payment - A 20% deposit must be paid at the time of booking which will be deducted from the remaining balance, the remaining balance will be due 28 days prior to arrival. If the booking is within 28 days then the full balance will be due upon booking. If the remaining balance is not paid when due your deposit will be non refundable and your booking will be void.

3. Weather - We are unable to control the weather and in bad weather we are unable to offer a refund and the normal cancelation policy applies.

4. Refuse Access - We reserve the right to refuse access to any guest exhibiting unacceptable or anti-social behaviour and in the event of having to do so their will be no reimbursement of the booking charge.

5. Smoking / Candles - Strictly no smoking or candles are permitted inside the huts, due to fire risk smoking is only permitted in the BBQ area. 

6. Pets - Lass hut is dog friendly however all dogs must be kept on a lead at all times as we are a working farm with our own livestock we have to protect. Please contact before booking to ensure we can accommodate. No dogs are to be allowed on the bed. 

7. Damages - Additional charges will incur for any damage or if the accommodation is left in a unsatisfactory way. Although we do understand that accidents can happen which may result in some minor damages so please let us know during your stay should anything occur.

8. Bookings - We do not accept bookings for any unaccompanied under 18's.

9. BBQ - Disposable BBQs are not permitted however charcoal BBQs are provided, you can bring your own charcoal or purchase charcoal packs onsite. There are ash buckets provided on site to safely dispose of any hot ashes.

10. Noise levels - Please be mindful of other guests and keep noise levels to a minimum especially between the hours of 10:00pm - 7:00am.

11. Fireworks and Chinese lanterns -  are strictly prohibited. These are very scary for the animals and can cause grave damage to the countryside and wildlife.

12. Parking - There is one parking space per unit. All vehicles and contents are left at owners risk. Please park in the designated area and walk to the huts. 

13. Wood Burning Stove - Please take extra care when using the wood burning stove in Lass, only wood purchased on site may be used although your first bag is included in your break.

14. Check-in time  - is as stated on your booking confirmation, if carrying out self check ins, the accommodation will be unlocked from the check in time, you can message or phone us should you have any questions. Departure time is 10AM.

15. Right to Refuse - We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or refund any booking.

16. Holiday Insurance - We recommend you take out your own holiday insurance.

17. Wood Fired Tub - Please ensure you thoroughly read through the instructions for the wood fired soaking tub which is included in your booking prior to use, we can not be held responsible for any injury. Any damages will be your responsibility and it is your responsibility to ensure the soaking tub is used safely, correctly and maintained during your stay. If you're unsure on lighting or maintaining your tub or have any problems please give us a shout and we will be happy to advise.

18. Responsibility - We cannot accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property whilst on site. There are two ponds along with small streams please familiarise yourselves with the site plan prior to arrival entering the water is not permitted at any time. Cars are parked at your own risk. We are a working farm so please be extra cautious of farm traffic and heavy machinery during your break. Please stick to the footpaths if you are unsure where these are please ask and we can point these out to you. Please take extra care around the animals, do not enter their paddocks at any time and please do not feed the animals. The animals may bite. Please wash your hand if you do come into contact with any of the animals.

19. Visitors - Day visitors are permitted between 9:00am-10:00pm but please inform us so we can advise on parking.

20. Access - The location of the glamping site is on a farm track please drive slowly when entering and be mindful of animals that may be loose. It is advisable to pack sensible foot ware such as wellies as the fields can get muddy. The huts are located approx 50m from the carpark along a gravel path, the huts have access via three steps.
